The Containers are the items use to transport materials in bulk. Generally the containers refers to a steel compartment, which use to transport goods by sea. Shipping Containers are also fall in to the very same definition. The ships which carry containers are called as Container Carriers. There are different types of Container ships.  some of them even can accommodate more than ten thousand forty feet containers on its deck. Therefore,  you can imagine the size of the ship. These gigantic ships are owned by multimillionaires or big shipping companies. 
Prime movers are the specially created vehicle which uses to transport containers to one place to another.  Specially transport between ports and terminals. Container terminals are the places where containers are parked or stored. However in a port, the container terminals mean the place where inbound and outbound container operation is carried out.   Large portion of worlds international trading transports is carried out inside the shipping containers. Sources reveals that, there is about 70 to 80 such reusable containers are being used daily in international trading. 
Shipping containers are reusable. It is built from hard steals , so that the strength is guaranteed. However there is an upper weight limit in such containers. Generally around 10 tons. These containers have some uniqueness. the outer appearance is overmuch similar one to another. However the colors and designs are different. That generally helps to identify the shipping line which owns the container.  However some containers changed or modified as to match the requirements. One example is the refrigeration containers which generally used to carry items which should be kept under refrigerated conditions. Some containers are there which never uses human hands, all the inbound outbound operations are completely carried out by using machineries. The main purpose is to avoid entering bacteria's. 
 Shipping Container Sizes are vary. Most common Shipping Container Sizes are forty feet long containers and twenty feet long containers.  They are generally referred in there nick name forty and twenty.  Forty feet container can carried a weight about 20 tons whereas twenty feet container limits to ten tons.  In order to transport a forty feet container there must have a container trailer of same length. Generally refers to as forty feet trailers. However twenty feet containers can be transported on a forty feet trailer.
